It was a couple of days ago, but in case you’ve missed it, my Might and Magic 3 Monster Spawn and more is available for download. I’m excited about it because the mod fixes bugs, adds previously unreachable content, and I believe it makes the game more a lot fun to boot. Enjoy!
Also, the hacking notes knowledge base for Final Fantasy 1 DoS Hacking Notes have been updated once again. Information on Armor and Items is now accessible, as well as an in-depth look at all of the merchandise in the game’s shops .
Great work. Thanks!! Also FF1 DoS FTW!

Thank you for all the hard work you’ve put into all of your mods and hacks Jeff! I felt like I was eight years old playing Final Fantasy 1 for the first time when I played your version of Final Fantasy Dawn of Souls. Your hacks/mods are the most professional I have ever played, Square-Enix would count themselves lucky to have a programmer of your skill.
Merry Christmas to you and your family Jeff, I wish you all of the best!
p.s. Have you shelved the FF DoS hackster project or just put it on the back burner for the moment?

Andrew—
I apologize for the lateness of the reply.
First of all, Merry Christmas to you and yours as well!
Second, I’m glad to hear that you’ve had fun with the mod. There’s a new Mod of Balance version out that improves on v1.2, adding features to Final Fantasy 1 and rebalancing the character development algorithms of Final Fantasy 2. Check it out, if you are so inclined.
Third, ya I’ve shelved the Hackster project; there’s too much else I want to do modding-wise. If someone else wants to run with that project, more power to them; if they use the hacking notes, all I ask is a finder’s credit and a link to the info.
